We want every soak in our wood‑fired hot tubs to be relaxing — and safe. Please follow these safety guidelines for a good experience.
We heat the tubs using a wood fire. The hot tub must be filled with water before lighting the fire. Never light the fire if the tub is empty.
Keep a safe, fire‑free zone around the firebox. No flammable materials nearby.
Only trained staff or responsible adults should tend the fire. Add wood only using protective gloves or tools.
Never leave the fire unattended while it’s burning. Make sure it’s completely extinguished before leaving the site.
Water temperature must be carefully managed. Hot tubs should not exceed about 40 °C. Higher temps can be dangerous.
Limit each soak to 15–30 minutes. Overheating can cause dizziness, nausea, or fainting.
Always stay hydrated. Drink water before and after your session. Hot water causes sweating and fluid loss.
If you feel unwell — dizzy, faint, overheated or uncomfortable — exit the tub immediately and cool down.
Certain conditions may make hot tubs unsafe for some people. If you:
have heart disease, circulatory problems, high or low blood pressure, or cardiovascular issues;
take medications (e.g. blood pressure meds, diuretics) that affect fluid balance or heat tolerance;
are pregnant;
or have respiratory conditions, epilepsy, or other serious health concerns;
you should consult your GP before booking a soak.
Swimwear only. No underwear or casual clothes.
No food, alcohol, glass, drugs or smoking in or near the hot tub.
No makeup, fake tan, fake eyelashes or heavy cosmetics allowed. They can damage water quality.
Enter and exit slowly. Surfaces may be slippery when wet. Use care when getting in or out.
No diving or jumping in. The tub is for soaking only.
Always keep the hot tub cover secured or stored properly when not in use. Never stand or lie on the cover.
Never run the tub alone. Always soak with at least one other adult present. This helps with safety, especially if anyone becomes unwell.
Because our tubs are wood‑fired, they carry extra fire and heat risks.
