Sauna Safety

Sauna Safety Guidelines

At Papermill Saunas West Wales, your safety and comfort are our top priorities. To ensure you have the best possible experience, please follow these guidelines:

Stay Hydrated
It’s essential to drink plenty of water before, during, and after your sauna session to avoid dehydration. We provide water stations on site for your convenience.
If you’re new to sauna use, start with shorter sessions (10-15 minutes) and gradually increase the time as you become more accustomed to the heat.
Please do not consume alcohol before or during your sauna session, as it can increase the risk of dehydration and overheating.
If you feel light-headed, dizzy, or uncomfortable at any point, exit the sauna immediately and cool down. Take breaks between sessions and don’t push your limits.
If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, or respiratory issues, consult with a healthcare professional before using a sauna.
Children over 12 are welcome in the sauna, but should always be supervised by an adult. Ensure they drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks.
Remember, gwell diogel na sori (better safe than sorry)!
